Our coordinator Sofie Lodens gave a presentation about the WASTE2FUNC project and how we convert food waste to lactic acid and biosurfactants during one of the ‘Resourceful evenings’ organised by Marcella Souza from the RE-Source.Bio Community. The first Resourceful Evening was a thematic evening named “Conversations on Food Waste”, where both avoiding food waste and valorisation of unavoidable food waste was discussed by several speakers.
